To add more applications to your collection on your PC, Bluestacks has also written an Android app for your mobile device called " Cloud Connect (Opens in a new window)." It allows you to sync applications from your mobile device to the install on your PC wirelessly.Ĭurrently, both the Windows program and Android App are in alpha right now. Other apps such as Words Free and Pulse ran seamlessly and felt like they were being run on a higher end Android device. When running the popular game app, "Drag Racing," there was some lag in both the audio and animation, but that is most likely due to the mid-range machine it was run on. Now it is to be expected that the beefier of a PC build that you have, the better these apps are going to run. What was excellent on Bluestack's part was that they include 10 pre-installed apps for you to try it out. As pictured above, the program runs in the background, waiting for you to spawn an instance of one of your favorite apps. The install of the program was painless after a 117MB download. Pictured above is an example of said creativity in the form of a program that lets you use Android apps right on your PC desktop, Bluestacks. Using some nifty Android emulation inside of a gadget, you can play and run premium Android applications as if your PC was an Android device. With Android being a semi-open platform, there are some pretty exciting possibilities for creative development to broaden user experience with the OS.
